Frequently Asked Questions

How long will our first meeting take?

First meetings last about an hour.

Am I under any obligation?

No. You are never under any obligation to buy. In fact, I never transact business at a first meeting.

Do you charge a fee after the first visit?

That depends. If the solution to your problem comes from the insurance side of the ledger there are never any fees, other than standard commissions, associated with those products. If, on the other hand, you desire to take advantage of our advisory services and open an investment account, there are fees associated with that level of service.

How do I know if I can trust you?

The fact is, you don't! That is why I work quite slowly with my clients and earn your trust every step along the way. Bottom line, if you are not comfortable with me, the products and services I offer, and the specific recommendations I make for you, we won't do business.

What will happen at our meeting?

We'll ask each other a lot of questions and discover if we are a good fit. If I think I can help you, and you think I am the right person to work with, we'll schedule a second meeting.

What products do you offer?

As a fiduciary, we provide advisory services for fixed-income and equity mutual fund portfolios. On the insurance side, we offer a wide range of products suitable for retirees and seniors. These products include Long Term Care, Survivor Life Insurance, Fixed Index Annuities and Medicare Supplements. The products are chosen based on your specific needs, plans and goals.

What do I need to bring?

It is not necessary to bring anything. However, most clients bring their tax return and their most current financial statements.

Do I work with you or one of your assistants?

You always work with me. No matter where I am, I am always reachable.

How many meeting do you normally have with your clients?

Most of my clients are in a position to either implement a program or determine that a program is not right for them by the end of their third meeting with me.
